Labrador Technologies is governed by a group of professionals that represent a cross-section of industries that complement it's strategies and goals.

George A. Wilson, LLB, Q.C.

is a Senior Partner of corporate law in the firm Gowlings, Toronto. Formerly, Mr. Wilson was a lecturer at Osgoode Hall Law School and the Managing Partner of Strathy, Archibald, and Seagram. With over 40 years of business experience in corporate law, Mr. Wilson also sits on numerous private company boards.


Jeff A. Howe, C.A.

Jeff Howe has been with Labrador since 2003. Jeff is the Vice President, Finance & Administration for Pure Metal Galvanizing. Formerly a principal with Ernst & Young in the Technology, Communication and Entertainment practice, Jeff has over 20 years of senior management, technical, and financial experience in a career that has spanned Finance and Accounting, Technology, and Operations.


Neil Bothwell

Mr. Bothwell received a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Queen’s University (Kingston) in 1995. He successfully completed his CA designation in 1998, and was awarded a Silver Medal for achieving the 2nd highest mark in Alberta.

Neil was CFO of GASFRAC Energy Services Inc. during its meteoric rise and completed substantial equity and debt financings for the company. As well, he has had a broad range of experience including being a “Big 4” Audit Manager, and consulting with more than 30 publically listed companies in the areas of risk management, corporate reporting, treasury operations, internal controls and business advisory services.

Currently, Neil is co-founder and Managing Director of Risk Oversight Inc., a specialized firm that offers risk management and internal audit expert services.


H. Ronald Sterne, BA

Ron Sterne founded Labrador Technologies (LTI) on January 6th, 1981. Ron has extensive experience managing and developing technology solutions for the Canadian Oil & Gas industry including: PHD, IDEA, the Labrador Tools Suite, Petro-LAB and our latest product offering, Labrador® eTriever. Additionally, Ron directed the Smith & weSterne™ Data Centre, a previous subsidiary of LTI.

With over 32 years of O&G industry experience, Ron has gained an appreciation for the unique needs and requirements of our clients, and provides thoughtful leadership, support and vision to Labrador Technologies, and the 2009 launch of eTriever.

Before founding LTI, Ron managed the Calgary office of Dataline Systems Limited. Ron holds a B.A. in English and Economics from Brock University.
