Labrador Technologies appoints Lindsay Blackett to Director of Public Policy & Government Relations
Labrador Technologies Inc. (“Labrador” or the “Corporation”) (TSXV: “LTX”) announces it has appointed Mr. Lindsay Blackett as its Director of Public Policy & Government Relations. Mr. Blackett has also assumed a role on Labrador’s Advisory Council. The appointment of Mr. Blackett further strengthens Labrador’s initiatives related to data, technology, and the cannabis industry. Mr. Blackett is a former Alberta Provincial Cabinet Minister and Calgary MLA. He brings considerable experience in public policy, government relations, legislation, and regulation with respect to the cannabis industry. Mr. Blackett is currently President of the Canadian Cannabis Chamber, an aggregator and advocate for the Cannabis industry, in addition to a Partner in Arete Cannabis Consulting Inc. He is also former CEO of Chiniki First Nation. “I am excited to join Labrador. Their solution recognizes the complexities of the industry as a whole” says Mr. Blackett. “Currently, in the cannabis industry, there are many different individuals and organizations which do not communicate with each other.
