SSI Releases QueryJoinerTM
June 12th, 2003 - Calgary, Canada - Sterne Stackhouse Inc. ("SSI") (TSX.V:SSX) the leader in Data-ExploitationTM software, has released an innovative product which extends powerful agile query and reporting functionality to business users. This new product has been developed to address the complexity and the costly time involved in querying data and building reports which rely on information from various databases and applications. Now, users have the capability to explore data, and analyze and report with far more flexibility, speed, and reduced dependency on I.T. departments.
QueryJoinerTM, the latest offering in a complementary suite of SSI's Data-ExploitationTM products, solves a common difficulty experienced by business users trying to integrate and join data from various sources into one report. Users define the query process using a graphical model, including the 'joining' of information from different sources.
Specifically, QueryJoinerTM addresses the long-standing issue of 'Joins-Across-Servers'. In essence, it automates the otherwise problematic assembly and correlation of data from various sources through a series of 'point & click' functions. The results of one, or many, of these operations are transferred directly into Microsoft ExcelTM, where reports, charts, and graphs can be readily prepared. The process can address ad-hoc needs, or it can be structured as a routine process to be repeated. Effectively, the user can independently accomplish challenging reporting requirements.
