Labrador Technologies Expands LABengine™ Platform
Labrador evolves to both Java and .NET development platforms
August 18th, 2005 - Calgary, Alberta, - Labrador Technologies Inc. (“LTI”) (LTX:TSX.V), today announced the launch of its Microsoft .NET version of its core Labrador component, the LABengine.
As the nucleus of the Labrador SDK (Software Developers Kit), the LABengine also anchors Labrador’s full-featured Data-Flow Managementä (DFMä) product suite. The LABengine provides the ability to implement a simplified query language that permits application developers to dynamically generate highly optimized SQL queries - with a minimum requirement of both domain-specific and model-specific knowledge. Another significant function of the LABengine is its unique ability to automatically generate the correct SQL encoding of relationships between data model entities.
Said Tim Breitkreutz, Chief Technical Officer for LTI, “The .NET version of the LABengine is the first step in our two year plan to introduce the Labrador product suite to a much broader market than oil and gas. It will take time, but the Labrador family of products is a natural for “horizontal” market applications.”
