With over 18,000 insurance agents nationwide, it was crucial that they all had ready access to customer information databases, including history profiles and real-time status reports. The client needed a scalable solution that could remotely accommodate its entire workforce, giving them all a consistent, composite view of their corporate data. In addition, the agents needed flexible reporting features, so they could ask any question of the database, without being limited to predefined/canned reports.
With Web-LAB, Labrador's advanced Web-enabled solution, this insurance client was able to deliver information directly to its agents via a secure Internet interface. The interactive application, powered by the underlying LABengine, allowed agents to drill down and analyze customer profiles at numerous levels. And back at the office, managers and executives could use Web-LAB's query and reporting strengths to gain insights into their constantly changing organization.
To accommodate one of the largest insurance companies in Canada, Labrador Technologies developed an interactive Web-based query and reporting tool that could be accessed remotely by all 18,000 of its field agents.
Agents were able to easily query and report in a complex environment, without any SQL or database knowledge.
